A woman must cover her face in front of speech. This provision of the Qur'an and Sunnah. Ummahatula Commander and other sahabiyara proved it by deeds.

Allah said in the Qur'an, Islamic, O Prophet! Tell you what, his wife and daughters and the believing women that they should cast their outer part of the themselves.
(Surah Al-Ahzab: 59)
